About Platypus
Our Purpose
Our goal with Platypus is to enlist the consumer (i.e. you) in the fight against climate change, by providing a way to contribute
directly to renewable green energy projects.
Our Plan
By turning green energy into a consumer product that can be given as a gift, we hope to raise significant amounts
of money for green energy projects in Canada and around the world.
Our People
Murray Foster currently plays bass with Great Big Sea. In his previous life he was a founding member of Moxy Fruvous. Murray has been
concerned about climate change (sometimes obsessively so) for several years now, and has finally decided to do something about it.
Brenda Morrow is a Business Analyst at John Deere Credit Canada. Until recently she was the Artistic Director for
Burlington’s Sound of Music Festival in a volunteer capacity. Every night Brenda dreams of going zero-to-sixty in 4.2 seconds in a Tesla Electric Roadster.
Our Animators
Patrick Osborne is a Disney animator based on southern California. He has worked on several major motion pictures, including the recently
released "Bolt".
Lillian Chan Chan is a filmaker, animator and designer living in Toronto. Lillian is a graduate of the animation program at Sheridan College.
